*In order to participate in the .22 rifle class, you must be 12 years of age and have a copy of your DNR Hunter Education certificate.

Archery members:

  • For the Archery program, you are encouraged to bring your own equipment. This will help you become comfortable with your bow. If you don’t have a bow, don’t worry. We have county equipment available for you.
  • We will be trying to set up a 3-D shoot at Critter’s Wolf River Sports in February or March. At this point, we don’t know if a fee will be charged. It is not included in the project fee. There may be additional sessions set up throughout the year. Details will be given at our meetings and in the 4-H Newsletter. We will let you know the dates when they are scheduled. You must have attended one of the classes in January, February to attend these additional shoots.

Rifle members:

  • The rifle programs will be using our county 4-H rifle equipment. Please DO NOT bring your own gun.
  • In order to participate in the .22 rifle class, you must be 12 years of age and have a copy of your DNR Hunter Education certificate.

All members: There are many invitational shoots throughout the state. Many have deadlines in March and April. Many of them also require hands on training each year with instructor or coordinator signatures, which you complete by attending our shoots. The enrollment forms are available on the State 4-H Shooting Sports web site. Please try to attend if possible.
