Human Development & Relationships (HDR)

The Extension Institute of Human Development & Relationships provides the tools Wisconsinites need to thrive as well-rounded, capable individuals and families. We support families in caring for each other in ways that promote growth and understanding. Our programs promote aging-friendly communities, coach effective parents, and help families put technology, mindfulness, and financial awareness to use. Our Human Development & Relationships programming is divided into three areas of focus:

Parenting and Family Relationships

Providing a source of well-researched, quality information about families and relationships.

Life Span

Guiding people through experiences throughout their lifespan, across health and developmental states, through caregiving, and through intergenerational relationships.

Financial Education

Helping families and individuals across the state achieve financial well-being.
