4-H Announcements 4/24/2026

THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS!

Across Winnebago County, volunteers contribute in countless ways: supporting youth,

families, education community programs and lifelong learning. From event planning and committee work to mentoring, caregiving support, and educational programming, volunteering strengthens the foundation of our community and helps Extension programs reach more people.

Every role matters. Every contribution counts.

4-H BASKET RAFFLE

It’s that time of year again when thoughts turn to preparing for the fair and the Basket Raffle Committee is getting underway also. We wanted to take this opportunity to say “Thank You!” again to those clubs that made contributions to the the 4-H Leaders Association Basket Raffle at the fair last year.

We are again asking that each club put together a basket for the raffle. Once your basket is complete, please make a list of all the items in your basket, an approximate total value and your club’s or project’s name. Attach this list to your basket.  Baskets can be delivered to the 4-H office by July 17th or they can be delivered Monday, July 27th to the 4-H office area at the fair Grounds.

The Raffle Committee is putting together a basket. If your club is small and having trouble putting together a basket on your own we would encourage you to contribute an item or items to this basket. We have a Tupperware cake/cupcake carrier as the beginning of the basket. Donations could be: baking mixes, canned frosting, cupcake liners, sprinkles, etc.

We ask that you bring your item or items to the office and label them with your club name so that we can recognize your club at the fair. We need to have your items at the office by Friday, July 17th. We will have an online sign-up for volunteers to work selling raffle tickets at the fair.

If you have questions please feel free to contact Carol Janssen at 920-203-3439 or by email, wood_jan99@hotmail.com.

Sincerely, The Raffle Basket Committee

Club Leaders – County Fair Ticket Info

Thank you to the organizational leaders who completed the survey on County Fair ticket sales! Your feedback will help us evaluate and improve our process in future years.

For 2026, we still need your help with Exhibitor Wristbands.

This year, the only way youth and families can purchase exhibitor wristbands is through their club or group. Wristbands will not be sold to individual families before or during the Fair.

We’ve created a new, simplified order form to make the process quicker. Clubs that prefer to track purchases by family can choose to use the longer form, and then compile their order to submit online.

Important Details:

  • All orders (including payment) must be submitted by WEDNESDAY, JULY 8
  • Clubs may place multiple orders if needed
  • Orders will be available for pickup at the Extension/4-H Office once payment is received
  • After July 8, youth exhibitor wristbands will no longer be available

Daily tickets and memberships will still be available for purchase at designated locations, including the Parks Department (located in the same building as the Extension/4-H Office).

Anyone who misses the exhibitor wristband deadline will need to purchase a regular membership for weekly admission:

  • $35 before July 29
  • $40 beginning July 29

Order & Pickup Information:

  • Place your group order:https://form.jotform.com/261105439543050
  • (Long form available on the exhibitor website if needed)
  • Mail payment to: WCFA Ticket Order, 2892 Ruschfield Dr, Oshkosh, WI 54904
  • (Make checks payable to “WCFA”)
  • Pick up tickets at: Extension/4-H Office, 625 E County Rd Y, Oshkosh

Dipper Leadership Opportunity

As announced at previous all-county meetings, the Dipper Committee is looking for new leadership to take over management of this fundraising event for the county. We would like to thank Scott and Herb for their years of service in supporting this fundraiser, and they would like to share the processes and other behind the scenes things that allow this initiative to continue as they serve out their final year.

If you are interested in assisting with soliciting donations, ordering supplies, supporting the Square point of sale system, or the other management responsibilities, please contact anyone on the Leaders’ Association Board of Directors or the Extension office for more details and someone will reach out to you!
