Parent Workshop: Safe Internet Use

👨‍👩‍👧📱Mindful technology use and conversations around family values and screen use can help make technology a benefit, rather than a conflict, for families. However, screen technology, including smartphones, social media, and video games, can be addicting. As parents, we can help teens set limits on the content they view and better understand what they see online. We will discuss how to talk with your teen and allow them to have input on the rules around screen time, how to make a family contract around technology use, and how to ensure technology is used safely.

💡Whether you’re a new parent or a seasoned pro, this session offers practical tools to support your parenting journey.
