ALL COUNTY 4-H MEETING

Tuesday, August 27th – 7PM – JPCC

ICE CREAM WILL BE SERVED!

We will be discussing a recap of county fair, re-enrollment, annual financial reports and club charters, brainstorm ideas for county-wide workshops, Annual 4-H Family Banquet, and annual awards.

All clubs/groups must send one representative to the meeting.


4-H RECORD BOOKS

4-H youth – are you working on your record books? There are prizes to be had!

Check with your club leader for your club’s due date.

Club leaders should drop off county level record books to the Extension office by October 15th.

SUBMIT WINNEBAGO COUNTY 4-H YOUTH AND ADULT AWARD NOMINATIONS

LOOKING FOR A NEW 4-H EXPERIENCE?

Join Interstate Exchange

The interstate exchange program is an exciting opportunity for youth to experience the geography, culture and heritage of a local community of 4-H youth in a new state. The goal is to: “educate youth and adults for living in a global and ever-changing world.” What better opportunity for learning than through an interstate exchange? 

  • Grades: 7-12
  • Enroll in Interstate Project: After Sept 3rd (add as a club with re-enrollment)
  • Travel: One week between June-August 2025
  • Plan: Coordinate activities and tours to showcase WI
  • Host: 4-Hers from the new state one week in 2026
  • Fundraising: support 3-4 fundraisers per year 
  • Info Session: September 8th at JPCC at 5PM

RE-ENROLL IN 4-H FOR THE 2024-2025 PROGRAM YEAR

Re-enrollment opens September 3rd and closes November 20th.

Project changes can be made up to January 31, 2025

REGISTER TO ATTEND ADVANCED SPACE ACADEMY!

Start your engine and begin the countdown! We are preparing for an incredible journey into the world of Space, STEM, and Robotics. Every other January, we will be offering a unique experience for youth grades 10-12 to take part in two advanced programs: Advanced Space Academy at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Wisconsin typically takes two groups of 16 youth to Advanced Space Academy.

Registration will be open in 4HOnline from September 4-30th, 2024. Instructions for registering for an event in 4HOnline are available here. If the experience fills up, you may be placed on a waitlist. There is a minimum number of youth participants of 36 youth – if this experience does not reach that minimum, it will be cancelled.
