VOLUNTEER TRAINING AND BACKGROUND CHECK REMINDER
ALL volunteers re-enrolling this year need to complete the online training “Supporting You Supporting Youth.” This is an annual training requirement. Also, some volunteers will need to renew their background checks. If you need to renew your background check, be sure to check your email for a link from HireRight. Per UW Madison, all re-enrolling volunteer training and background checks must be completed by December 1, or your volunteer status will be considered inactive and you will not be able to act in any volunteer capacity with our 4-H youth. Please reach out to Dana Berger with any questions.
CROCHETING WORKSHOPS
Interested in learning how to crochet? Our wonderful crocheting project leaders, Kim Brzozowski and Alissa Eichmann have organized a series of workshops open to youth and adults! See attached flyers for all the details.
Register for any or all at https://bit.ly/3Ttzf8z
WE ARE PLANNING 2025 4-H FUN DAY!
It’s that time of year again to start lining up volunteers to teach sessions for 4-H Fun Day which will take place on February 1st. We are looking for those that have a special talent to share and would like to teach a session. We also are looking for one or two high school youth or those who maybe have served as a historian for their club that would be willing to take pictures during Fun Day. Please reach out to dana.berger@wisc.edu. It takes a lot of volunteers to be able to offer a wide variety of sessions. Please consider sharing your time and talents!
