VOLUNTEERS: UW Madison Department of Youth Protection is requiring that training and background checks for returning volunteers MUST be completed by December 1st. If the deadline is missed, your re-enrollment will be rejected and they will require to go through the enrollment process as a new volunteer.

DOG PROJECT MEETING
October 16
Starting at 6:30 please arrive 15 minutes early so we can start on time. We are touring the Oshkosh Area Humane Society and learning about all of their services.. Please note we will not be in direct contact with their animals. With touring groups it tends to be too overwhelming for the animals. Please if everyone could bring a donation item from their list:

IT’S RECORD BOOK SEASON!
Youth: Be sure to check with your club leader to find out when your record books are due.
Club Leaders: All record books being forwarded to the county level should be turned in at the Extension Office by October 15th.

Come Back Home Event
The Breakwater Coalition is looking for youth voices to be part of a panel after the screening of
Come Back Home
, a 30-minute film about the dangers of fentanyl. Panelists will share their thoughts on things like substance use, peer pressure, social media, and how the community can better support youth.
- This is a great opportunity to speak your truth, help others, and be part of something powerful. Oct 16
- 5:30-7pm (545-615 is the film screening, and 615-640ish would be the panel)
