4-H BASKET RAFFLE

It’s that time of year again when thoughts turn to preparing for the fair and the Basket Raffle Committee is getting underway also.

We wanted to take this opportunity to say “Thank You!” again to those clubs that made contributions to the the 4-H Leaders Association Basket Raffle at the fair last year.

We are again asking that each club put together a basket for the raffle. Once your basket is complete, please make a list of all the items in your basket, an approximate total value and your club’s or project’s name. Attach this list to your basket.

Baskets can be delivered to the 4-H office by July 17th or they can be delivered Monday, July 27th to the 4-H office area at the fair Grounds.

The Raffle Committee is putting together a basket. If your club is small and having trouble putting together a basket on your own we would encourage you to contribute an item or items to this basket. We have a Tupperware cake/cupcake carrier as the beginning of the basket. Donations could be: baking mixes, canned frosting, cupcake liners, sprinkles, etc. We ask that you bring your item or items to the office and label them with your club name so that we can recognize your club at the fair. We need to have your items at the office by Friday, July 17th.

We will have an online sign-up for volunteers to work selling raffle tickets at the fair.

If you have questions please feel free to contact Carol Janssen at 920-203-3439 or by email, wood_jan99@hotmail.com.

Sincerely,

The Raffle Basket Committee
