Introducing: Backyard Gardener training

Take the first step to become a Master Gardener by completing the Backyard Gardener training program. In this program, you will learn the essentials of horticulture to become a more successful and well-rounded gardener. You will not only gain practical gardening skills and techniques to grow healthy plants, but also learn the science behind “why” and “how” these techniques work. Backyard Gardener is an approved learning opportunity for the Wisconsin Extension Master Gardener Program Onboarding Exam.

This 14-week course takes place Tuesdays, 1:30–4 p.m., at the UWO–Fox Cities Campus in Menasha, starting Sept. 12. There will be no class Tuesday, Nov. 21 due to Thanksgiving.

Course Dates: Sept. 12–Dec. 12, 2023

Cost: $175 Early-bird | $200 Regular Course textbook and other lab materials are covered by this fee.
