PIZZA MAKING SOS!

From the Leaders’ Association…

On November 5th we are all looking forward to our fun-filled pizza making day!

Kelsie Smith, our chairperson, has been in charge of the pizza making for a few years now. She has done an outstanding job!!
This year, however, she will be absent on Saturday due to a scheduling conflict. Kelsie will be able to help with the pizza count on 10/12 and set-up on Friday 11/4, but we are in need of a co-chairperson and additional committee personnel to help out during the entire day of pizza making – 11/5.

It would be helpful if several people could step up.  We need to assign workers as they come in for their shift
1. Greeter Table
2. Additional kitchen workers

3. Fill workers for supply tables (cheese, sausage)4. Assign runners – refrigerated truck supplies brought in

5. Assign runners – from kitchen and supply tables to the assembly lines
6. Fill in the assembly lines
7. Check-out area
8. Clean-up
Please let me (Kay) know if you can help out in this capacity.  Please email kaylettau@gmail.com
Thanks for stepping up! – Kay Lettau

A YAC “ADVENTURE” PLANNING MEETING WILL BE ON NOV 22ND AT 7PM AT JAMES P COUGHLIN CENTER!

Let’s brainstorm for some fun adventures! Please email dana.berger@wisc.edu if you plan to attend.

Are you in 6-12th grade and looking to help plan and participate in a few fun adventures?  Our Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) has a new twist!  Introducing the new Youth ADVENTURE Committee!

What will the new YAC do?

  • Any Winnebago County 4-H youth in grades 6-12 can join YAC. There is no selection process.
  • Youth that would like to join will meet a few times a year to plan three to four adventure and fun-filled activities for 4-H teens to attend. (ex: Snow tubing, kayaking, bowling, zip lining, Brewer or Timber Rattler game, etc). The YOUTH decide on and help plan the outings.
  • We are focusing on the 4-H Essential Element of BELONGING. YAC will help provide opportunities for teens to get to know peers from other clubs in the county and have fun in a safe environment.

To sign up for YAC, visit:  https://forms.office.com/r/NkDzdBZCaV
