CITIZEN WASHINGTON FOCUS

Registration for Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) is now open in 4HOnline for members in grades 10-12. Registration is open now until December 31. This year the state is sending a delegation to week 3 of CWF, June 24-July 1, 2023. CWF is a premiere citizenship and leadership experience and will send youth to Washington, D.C. for a weeklong experience. Participants learn about the roles of Senators and Representatives in the United States’ government and how these parts work together to form an effective Congress. Additionally, youth get to see and experience government in action by meeting with their State’s members of Congress and watching a House of Representatives meeting.

You can find more information about CWF and the registration process on the state’s 4-H website: https://4h.extension.wisc.edu/opportunities/statewide-events-and-opportunities/citizenship-washington-focus/
