My Way Out presents…

“Mistakes Do Not Define Who You Are”

April is recognized as Second Chance Month, and leaders from My Way Out and UW-Madison’s educators and specialists collaborated on four community events named “Mistakes Do Not Define Who You Are”. The events raised community awareness about life after incarceration and toured four cities in Wisconsin during Second Chance Month in April: Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, and Appleton. The events included a short video screening, discussion and Q&A, reentry-based resources, volunteer opportunities, and reentry training. Check out the shared PowerPoint below and resource sheet.
